Zones of influence
A clan event for control over the map — capture monuments, collect points and win by the end of the wipe
What it is
Zones of influence is a clan event for control over the map. Clans capture stations at monuments and collect points; the higher the tier of the monument, the more points it gives. Points can also be taken away — by raiding the main tool cupboard. The clan with the highest score at the end of the wipe wins.
Rewards and format
The fourth stage lasts three days: from Friday, July 31, until 23:59 on Sunday, August 2. Every stage starts from scratch. At the end of a stage the best clans on the leaderboard receive rewards.
Server
The event runs on a separate clan server.
Create a clan
A clan is your team in the event. There are two ways to create one; the website and the server are synchronised.
Create a clan on the website and send your teammates an invite link. Once they join the server, you will automatically end up in the same team.
Create a team — the game will ask you for a clan name and tag. Everyone you invite to the team becomes a clan member.
Main tool cupboard
The main tool cupboard is required to take part: without it you cannot earn points.
- Place a tool cupboard on a foundation.
- Set it as the main one.
- The assignment is irreversible. You can destroy your own main tool cupboard only within the first 5 minutes after placing it.
Do not wall the main tool cupboard in completely — there must always be a way to it through doors.
Capturing stations
Stations appear throughout all three days of the stage — every hour from 10:00 to 00:00. Capture a station and your clan immediately gets points.
- Walk up to the station and press E — a 15-minute timer starts. Hold it down to zero and the points are yours.
- An opponent can intercept it by holding E for 5 seconds. Every interception adds +60 seconds (but never above 15:00).
- While the capture is in progress, the area around it is a no-explosives, no-smoke zone. The fight decides the outcome.
- If nobody captures a station for 40 minutes, it closes until the next time.
Every station is marked with a shop icon on the map — hover over the marker to see its status.
Points for capturing
There is no ownership any more: points are awarded once, right at the moment of the capture. After being captured a station goes on a 1-hour cooldown.
| Tier | Monument examples | Points for ownership |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Gas station, Mining outpost, Lighthouse | 25 |
| 2 | Ziggurat, Satellite dish, Harbor | 40 |
| 3 | Airfield, Dome, Train yard | 55 |
| 4 | Launch site, Military tunnel, Missile silo, Arctic base | 75 |
How to take what is not yours
There is only one way to take an opponent's points — by raiding their main tool cupboard.
By destroying another clan's main tool cupboard you take 50% of the victim clan's bank.
Raid block
The raid block protects against tricks when raiding a main tool cupboard. It makes sure the points for destroying it go to whoever actually raided it, not to whoever landed the last hit.
- When a clan raids near someone else's main tool cupboard, a raid block appears around it: a zone with a radius of 100 metres.
- While the raid block is active, destroying that cupboard in any way is credited to the clan that created the zone — even if someone else landed the last hit.
- The duration of the zone is progressive — it grows with every destroyed structure: the more active the raid, the longer it holds. Only destruction by the clan that created the zone extends it; damage from others does not.
- The zone is invisible and does not restrict players. When you enter it you see a hint in the top-left corner: Clan A vs Clan B and a timer.
Building limit
One structure is limited to 750 blocks. Place your main tool cupboard in it and the limit grows to 6,500.
A structure is a set of connected blocks; the limit is counted for each one separately. The main tool cupboard only extends the structure it stands in. A clan has just one of them — so there is also just one 6,500-block base, while all other structures stay at 750. A regular tool cupboard does not raise the limit.
If your main tool cupboard is destroyed in a raid, the limit drops back to 750. What is already built stays, but new blocks above 750 are only possible after placing a new main tool cupboard.
Night protection
From 02:00 to 12:00 a base with a main tool cupboard cannot be raided — the structures are fully protected and take no damage.
Protection turns on and off automatically, by timer.
Only structures connected to the main tool cupboard by blocks are covered — not everything within a radius.
Team limit
The player limit in a clan is 20.
Any kind of alliance, cooperation, arrangement or joint action between players from different clans, as well as with third parties who are not in the clan, is prohibited.
Violations are punished strictly: up to exclusion from the event for the current and all future stages.
